Stephen Kurtz, Treasurer

Stephen Kurtz serves as Chairman and CEO of MuscleSound ®, Inc., a healthcare technology company that uses non-invasive ultrasound and software to measure muscle health. Stephen, a licensed CPA, is also the managing member of Kurtz Financial, LLC, a private equity firm that specializes in merger and acquisition advisory services, restructuring, and turnarounds. He was previously President of the Englewood-based accounting firm Shenkin Kurtz Baker & Co. from 1978-2001.

Stephen has served on various local and national boards, including Denver Scholarship Foundation, Rose Medical Center, Wells Fargo Bank, and HealthOne. A Founding Partner of the Colorado Rockies Baseball Club, Stephen is a native Denverite and alumnus of George Washington High School. He received his B.S. in Business Administration from Babson College.

Stephen serves on the Financial Committee.
