Michelle Neuenschwander

Director of Programs

Michelle Neuenschwander is a proud first-generation Latina college graduate and seasoned nonprofit leader with over 14 years of experience advancing equity through program strategy, community partnerships, and cross-sector collaboration. As Director of Programs, Michelle Neuenschwander oversees the development and operations of all three programs: college and technical school scholarships, career training in apprenticeships and credentials, and high school support.

Prior to joining Prosperity Denver Fund, Michelle served as Deputy Chief of Programs at Hispanic Access Foundation, a national nonprofit where she led a multi-million-dollar portfolio of programs focused on workforce and leadership development, health equity, and financial empowerment elevating historically underrepresented communities. Her strategic vision and collaborative leadership have expanded access to opportunity for Latino and immigrant communities nationwide.

Michelle brings deep expertise in program design, grant oversight, and scaling initiatives for systems-level change. She believes in the power of community-driven solutions to remove barriers and create generational impact.

Michelle earned her degree in Community Health from George Mason University. Outside of work, she enjoys adventuring with her family in Colorado’s great outdoors and exploring new places around the world.
