One Year at Prosperity Denver Fund

CEO Rebecca Arno

If we haven’t had the pleasure of meeting, I’m Rebecca Arno, CEO of Prosperity Denver Fund. I’m happy to share this message with you as I celebrate my first year in this amazing role supporting Denver students as they build their futures.

In the past year, I’ve had the pleasure of working with our fantastic team, dedicated board of directors, brilliant data partners, and incredible supported organization partners, along with many of you – wonderful community members who make up the city of Denver.

Together, I believe we’re creating a dynamic ecosystem focused on making Denver the best place for 18-year-olds to live in the country.

Since our inception in 2018, we’re proud to share that we’ve funded over 12,000 scholarships and provided support for organizations serving more than 37,000 Denver students. This work helps students with journeys in everything from college to apprenticeships and credential programs, as well as providing support services in nearly every Denver high school.

In navigating my first year, I have found our purpose is clear: we exist to help Denver students build successful futures and build lives in the city they call home.

All of this has been made possible by the generous voters and taxpayers of Denver who chose to invest in this vital work. Since our founding, Prosperity Denver Fund has reimbursed $48 million to more than 70 local nonprofits that support Denver students.

We hope to serve as a beacon of hope for young people building their futures, standing out as a unique local model, one of the few doing this work across the U.S.

I can’t wait to see what we can achieve together next. We look forward to sharing more inspiring stories about young people who are transforming their lives through education and shaping the future of our city and economy. (And please don’t miss our latest Denver7 news story below!)

Thank you for joining me in believing in the hope of Denver’s future,

Rebecca Arno
Chief Executive Officer
